Before using ExpressVPN, our IP address, Internet service provider (ISP), and server locations were visible. However, after connecting to the VPN, we only see the VPN server information displayed. This shows that the leak protection worked as expected as our private information was hidden.

We also conducted a kill switch test on ExpressVPN to see how it hides our IP even if our connection drops. Guess what it easily passes the test, we rapidly change the server to see if it shows our IP or not and ExpressVPN didn’t show our IP in Washington when we switch between an Australian and Canadian server.
